Hobbies: Watching my son play rugby, skiing, golf, training for myself and adventure treks around the world.
Qualifications: Level 2 fitness instructor and Level 3 personal trainer.
Classes: Personal Training, Boxercise, SkiFit, HIIT Circuits and Bootcamp


Oba Noakes

Hobbies: Arial hoop, pole dancing, handstands, roller skating, open water swimming and cycling.
Qualifications: Level 2, 3 and 4 personal trainer, kettlercise, TRX instructor and sports massage therapist.
Classes: Personal Training, PACE, Kettles, LIIT, Abs, Barre Concept and Body Conditioning.

Marketing, events, and administration

Experienced Head Of Marketing Communications with a demonstrated history of working in the the marketing & communications industry. Skilled in Branding & Identity, Communication, Event Management, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Events. Strong entrepreneurship professional graduated from Lancaster University.

Nicky Whitaker

Hobbies: Pilates, cooking and interior design.
Qualifications: BA Hons. History of Art. Level 3 Personal Trainer, FKPro/ TRX Instructor, Circuits Trainer.

Kara Herbert
Yoga Teacher

Hobbies: All things yoga and dance, swimming, walking, reading, travelling and recently skiing!
Qualifications: 500hr Vinyasa Flow Yoga in India, 200hr Hatha Yoga in Morocco and London both Yoga Alliance UK accredited. 2:1 BA Hons Creative Arts (Dance & Art). Extensive CPD workshops and courses in both Dance and Yoga.

Francesca Pace
Ashtanga Yoga, Pilates and Martial Arts Teacher

Hobbies : Francesca is a busy Mum who loves yoga and martial arts practice

Qualifications : Francesca is a qulalified Ashtanga yoga teacher and a practicing Pilates and martial arts teacher. She teaches many styles of yoga but is joining Balance as our pilates teacher, with a regular Thursday evening class at 7.15pm. She will also provide cover for some of our yoga classes

Anna Beament
Pilates Teacher

Hobbies: Busy Mum and loves her fitness, enjoys all things family and friends
Qualifications: Anna  trained as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in 1996. She qualified as a Pilates teacher with the Pilates Institute in London in 2007. Her interest in remedial clients sparked the need to understand more about anatomy and physiology. She subsequently continued her training with Suzanne Scott in Castle Cary as a Foundation teacher in 2010/2011.
Classes: Pilates classes and retreat days.


Personal trainer

Hobbies: An IronMan athlete in his own right.

Qualifications : Jon has been a Level 3 personal trainer for 16 years, he has worked in many gyms and health clubs and now trains people at home as well as here and the YMCA in Bath.

Classes: PTs and small group classes.
