Monday Tuesday and Saturday Yoga

Hatha Yoga with Kara

Mon: 8:15am & 9:30am, Tues: 6:15pm & 7:30pm.

Kara has been working as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher since graduating in 2002 with a 2:1 BA Hons in Creative Arts: Dance and Visual Arts. Alongside her dance training and career, Kara has been practising yoga for 11 years over which time her passion and interest to learn more has grown.

We also have other qualified yoga teachers as cover who are all as qualified, so if Kara is away, you will still be well looked after!

Yoga improves strength and flexibility, as well as relaxing the mind and helping to de-stress. The main components of yoga are postures and breathing. Yoga is also safe and a effective way to increase physical activity and balance.

Kara aims to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere to her classes as well as challenging and embracing the needs of each individual.

Wednesday Yoga with Mirella at 1:30pm & Ruth at 6pm.

Mirella has been training since 2007 she has become passionate about the discipline which has taken her to a deep  understanding and knowledge. Since then she has never stopped training and learning. The journey to India, in 2013 meant training in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga and since then she has never stopped training and learning.
The classes she teaches can be energetic and fast as well as slow and calm. In both cases you’ll go home feeling refreshed, stronger and surely calmer.

In Ruth’s classes students can expect a mindful, flowing practice with an emphasis on alignment, breath and precision of movement. Her aim is that students of all levels leave feeling physically challenged but also relaxed, recalibrated and completely confident in their abilities. Mindfulness is at the heart of every yoga class Ruth teaches and every Thai yoga massage treatment she gives. Ruth’s teacher training is with The British Wheel of Yoga – a 500 hour, level 4 diploma and one of the most comprehensive and rigorous courses available. Ruth continues to be a passionate student of yoga – she loves to learn new skills and feed her inspiration so that her teaching always feels fresh.

Thursday Yoga with Maddie at 8:15am & 9:30am & Mirella Yin Yoga at 6:15pm.

Maddie loves practicing all styles of yoga. Her classes are energy boosting, friendly and cater for all abilities. She particularly enjoys watching clients yoga practice grow and noticing the difference their yoga practice is making in their daily lives.

 In Mirella Yin Yoga postures are held for 3-5 minutes whilst sitting or lying with a passive body. This practice lends itself to introspection and mindfulness as you’re invited to slow down, take stock and stay in posture – even when the stretch feels intense. Yin is a wonderful compliment to yang styles of yoga such as dynamic flow and ‘yang’ sports such as running, cycling and weight training.

Friday morning Cardio Yoga with Maddie at 8:00am starting from the 27th September.

Saturday Morning Yoga at 8:15am – various teachers
