LIIT stands for Low Impact Interval Training.
We created this class at Balance because of requests for a interval training class without the jumping, and therefore the opportunity to build strength with no impact.
This class is fantastic for those who are recovering from injury and want to easy themselves back into exercise gradually. But don’t be fooled, this class does use weights and although the suggestion is always to begin light, within no time, you will increase your weights and strength levels.
Interval training is a fantastic way to lose weight and built lean muscle, fast and effectively. This class chooses low impact exercises so you get the same results of strength and fat burn, without impact on your joints.
Our classes are on Wednesday mornings and are designed to build up your fitness and stamina so that everything you do in life from gardening and physical work become easier and more enjoyable.
