The HIIT session is the “go to” work out for those who want a more interesting and just a effective workout as the continuous endurance work out, but in a shorter space of time. So less time worked for the same results.
This is a “get your workout done now” type of work out. People also like the High Intensity part as they feel like they are working hard for a short amount of time and put in maximum effort.
It is important to make sure you have a base level of fitness first before you embark on this type of class to make sure you are doing all the exercises correctly. At Balance we make sure we include this type of training in personal training hours too to prepare people to join classes where there is not so much time to correct people.
