We’re discovering that cycling is such hot and hard work, but Girl Power is helping us out!
Today’s highlights have been a visit to a floating market by boat which was great as not being on our bikes first thing was very welcomed! There were lots of jostling boats selling fabulous fresh fruit and the coconut water was fantastic.
After our relaxing morning, we had a sprint to over take the men in the group who were hogging the lead and seemed to think the women should be the slow ones at the back… We showed them our Girl Power when we topped 37km/hr speeds and beat them to the next drink stop!
Much of the day we cycled through villages beside waterways with kids all yelling ‘Hello’ and reaching out to give us high 5’s as we rode past.
As for the legs, just a little bit tired… tomorrow is our last and hardest day in Vietnam before we cross the border into Cambodia. We’re all resting up before the hilly 95km and hills we know are coming in the morning!
Thanks again for reading and I hope you’re enjoying following my journey!
